The World of Pah (Adventure Jam 2017) [Juanjo]

As you all know I have had a complicated week and due to this I have not been able to work on my entry for Adventure Jam 2017, so I had to change my original idea for a less complicated and simpler one.

I hope you like it!




STORY:
We are Pah, a minor God who inhabits in the floating islands, an idyllic and perfect place, without obligations or rules... a perfect world, our world. One day we wake up and discover a wooden bridge that was not there before and seems to have no end. Who put that bridge there? And why now? What is on the other side? Do we really want to leave our wonderful world?

Only crossing the bridge we will discover what mystery is hidden behind him and perhaps we can find out who and why has put it there.

The World of Pah is a contemplative first person exploration game that has been created by one person in 15 days for Adventure Jam 2017, so the experience will be very simple but I hope you have fun and enjoy!

And this is all for the moment, I'm super happy and excited... I can finally start with the development!

World and designs are amazing, the vegetation is incredible. I had rarely seen such a peaceful place in a game. Good choice of music too, very relaxing alltogether.

Indeed it's a shame that it is only a walking simulator, because the demo is very promising. But I'm very happy that you could release it in time! Good job, as always!

Just got in from my exam. I still have some assignments to do, but from Thursday I can take some time off, so have downloaded and will have a try!

Yes Denis, only 77MB, there are no much elements and it's very optimized (I have learned a lot about optimization, how to improve the LOD of the objects).

Simon thank you very much for your kind words, you are very benevolent, hahaha. Seriously, thanks for your encouragement during the jam, without you it's possible that I would not have published anything.

And thanks to all for your support, there are a great community here... I've never doubted it.

I'm glad that at least the graphics are good... maybe it's the only good thing in the "game"

It's not a lot of votants on a total of 122 entries. When I think that I took some time to vote for many other games... The voting system doesn't seem to work very well in these jams!

Congrats guys, you both did awesome work! I didn't like the voting rules for the jam. You could only vote if you were a participant in the jam. So I as well as any outsider couldn't vote
