E3 2018 coming!

In 3 days it will be E3 2018!
What do you want to see?

I personally don't wait E3 announcements as much as before (I'm getting old, and don't have time to play...) but it's still an exciting moment for everyone who enjoys (or works on) video games!

What do I hope to see? Nothing specifically, I wait and see! But if I have to make a list:
- new Nintendo 3DS games (Metroid, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, etc... I'm still playing them when I'm not at home haha)
- a new exciting Square Enix J-rpg, at long last? (a surprise? Final Fantasy XVI or FF7 remake? Or something even better?)
- new PS4 games, new PC games with incredible graphics
- a new project from the creator of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus?
- a new Zelda?
- new technologies, new consoles? (even if I will probably never play them)
- a new Nintendo licence (something that will change from Mario and his friends = Nintendo taking risks!)

What about you?

I would like to see, for a change, the "Top" games being non-mega enterprise (i.e small studios) where the skill of the developers is better than the hype surrounding the launch of the game.

Absolutely, yes I agree with you Roger, but I don't think it will ever happen at E3..

By the way I forgot to list Cyberpunk 2077 in my previous message Still curious about it!

E3 always reminds me of all the games/consoles from previous years that I'll probably never own or play, haha! None the less it is always neat and exciting to see what the next latest and greatest will be, which also reminds me of when I was a kid looking through the Sears Christmas wish book each year "wishing" for the newest and coolest toys!

It's true, E3 is like making a list to Santa Claus!

Well, thanks Simons for create this thread, I'm very excited this year because there are many games that I look forward to!

1º) Death Stranding. A Hideo Kojima game, no need to say more.
2º) Sinking Island. A game inspired in the Lovecraft' myths and I really want to see how it has progressed.
3º) The Last of Us - Part 2. Probably the PS4 game that I most want to see in movement.

And this year I'm very curious to see what the Devolver guys do in their conference... last year they left us with their mouths open to everyone!

This year I will try to see the conferences live... every year I try, hahaha, it's a personal challenge.

Yeah, The Last of Us part 2!! I forgot this one, at least for the world and graphics (if not for the gameplay/challenge)

There are also rumors about a new Fallout...



but they are just rumors
(for those who don't know this is the facade of a hotel near the E3, it's a real image, advertising and marketing of Bethesda without limits)

Yeah, nothing interesting in the EA conference, as I expected.

Here in Spain the schedule is bit different but the days are the same.

Tomorrow Microsoft (no surprises are expected) and Bethesda (Fallout 76 is the most interesting game).

For Electronic Arts, putting appart the few inovation in their newly presented games, Anthem seems to have incredible graphics! It's created by the team of Mass Effect, so it's not a surprise (but Mass Effect seems to have a much better world!)



Today Microsoft should reveal the new Xbox Scorpio, as teased before E3.



And Bethesda I don't know. If there is only Fallout 76 then we already know everything, so they will probably mainly show graphics/gameplay. I don't think they will reveal a new Elder Scroll or something amazing next to Fallout.

And if Microsoft shows a new Xbox, then I think that Sony will reveal a new Playstation! Wait and see

Well, finished the Microsoft conference... much, much better than EA (in my opinion).

New Halo, The Division 2, Fallout 76, Dying Light 2, Gears 5, Kingdom Hearts 3, Jump Force, Shadow of the Tomb Raider... and Cyberpunk 2077 (up to 50 games)!

But what has surprised me most has been the "acquisition" of studies to work under the seal of Microsoft: 434 Industries, Ninja Theory, Compulsion Games...

Interesting... We'll see what SONY does...

Kingdom Hearts 3! Man, I've been waiting for that game for 13 yrs! haha.

I haven't seen the Microsoft conference. I'll have to find a summary somewhere.
Have they finally announced the new Xbox or not? I don't see it anywhere. (I don't care in fact, I won't buy it lol. Simple curiosity!)

It seems that a lot of good games have been teased during this conference, but they are not exclusivities to Microsoft, so they're just taking the hype because they were the first ones to reveale them I'm not surprised by this strategy haha

I saw the new trailer of Cyberpunk 2077. Wow! Fallout 76 will have a serious challenger here, as expected ^^

The conference of Bethesda looked nice! They announced many good games, including a new Elder Scroll! I didn't expect that already, it's a surprise.
Mmmh, it's a shame, Fallout 76 will be multiplayer online (only, if I understood well).

Ok, my final resume of Bethesda conference = The Elder Scrolls VI
(Fallout 76 already knew that it was going to be announced)

Starfield sounds interesting but at least we'll have to wait 2 or 3 years to see something serious about this game.

In my opinion the Bethesda conference was not good, for the moment Microsoft has shown much more and better.

Devolver is in another level, A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

Juanjo what did Devolver announce? I have not seen a word about their conference on the usual French game sites that I visit.

Yes, the Square Enix conference was not interesting... besides some games were announced by Microsoft and EA.

Devolver was a joke itself, they just announced 3 games:
- SCUM. A extreme survival game.
- My Friend Pedro. A bloody bananas game, hahahaha.
- MetalWolf Chaos. More blood and battles with Mech.

Nothing remarkable in the Ubisoft conference... just new gameplay of Assassins Creed Odyssey but we already knew that they were going to announce it.

For the moment, this E3 is being boring... no surprises, no new announces... nothing.

I hope SONY can save the event...
