A 2.5D Action-adventure prorotype for the adventure jam, telling about fellows fighting against powerfull judges ruling the world.
First wip pictures with a test of Tumora city outside slum, and the first character in Unity scene as I made the scene with the background image in front of the camera.

Cool for the thread, and thx guys for your comments The background are painted within Krita, may be that's why it looks soft. I make no texture effects when I draw, just lighting and simple material also

I think it's the "glow" effect that makes it soft. But it's cool!

GREAT JOB YVES, you should be proud for succeeding in time. It was difficult but you made it.

I'll share my feedback in a short while.

I played your game a bit Yves and I LOVE it. That's the gameplay of Silver in the world of Final Fantasy VII. It's great, I don't know how you could do all that! The battles are simple but intense, the backgrounds/environments are really beautiful and the story looks great. Even the music is very good (I know you took free music on the web, but they are well chosen!).

I couldn't finish your demo yet, because I have a bug. When I enter in battle mode, I can't get out of it. As a result I can't open the doors or talk to the people in town. And I fail to defeat the guards in armor, they are too strong for me for the moment (I think it's normal?).

I will play it again! I don't know if you plan to post an update soon, or a Windows downloadable version, but overall the result is really a success!!
I really hope that you will be motivated to continue this beautiful project...

I haven't had time to play, but I will in the next few days, although I have to say that you have done an excellent job!

The game of Yves is great, there is a fantastic atmosphere and the choice of music is excellent.
The world, even though it is quite dark and pessimistic, is really amazing with the beautiful artwork.

Tip:
The main challenge for this adventure is to be able to defeat the guards in armor. It is quite easy once you understood the gameplay. Stay at good distance from them until the try to hit you, and then it's the good moment to attack. You have to hit each ennemy 3 times and they're dead.

Ok, played and I must to say that this is an authentic gem, I love it! Art, mechanics, music... everything works great!

I can see that you have worked hard and the result is amazing!
